What is Whiplash?
Whiplash is caused when the neck rapidly moves forward and backward, most commonly from a rear-ended collision. Symptoms of whiplash include, neck pain, stiffness and tenderness in the neck and shoulders, headaches (usually starting at the base of the skill), numbness and tingling in the arms, dizziness, fatigue, pain that worsens with neck movement, and a decreased range of movement.
Symptoms of whiplash can be reduced within a few weeks when under chiropractic treatment; however, some people experience chronic pain that can be treated with regular chiropractic maintenance visits.
